# Privacy policy

ethan-codes.com is a static website. It has no accounts, no sign-in, no forms, no cookies and no analytics.

## What this site does not do

- It does not set cookies or use your browser's local or session storage.
- It does not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts.
- It does not ask you for, or collect, personal information.

## What does happen

**Fonts.** The homepage, the Alignment Atlas and the text pages load typefaces from Google Fonts. Your browser requests them from Google's servers, so Google receives your IP address and browser details when it does. The Dimension Visualizer does not load any third-party resources.

**Server logs.** The web server that hosts this site does not write an access log of page views. Like any server it can record technical errors, for example a request for a page that does not exist, and those records can include your IP address. They are used only to troubleshoot and secure the server, never to profile visitors.

**Email.** If you email [hi@ethan-codes.com](mailto:hi@ethan-codes.com), I receive your address and your message, and I use them only to reply to you. You can ask me to delete a conversation.
